THE CEREMONY & INTEGRATION EXPERIENCE
This ceremony is held in Nosara at the Sanctuary of Sound and Medicine, guided by Ron Nikel and Conrad Cowherd as the primary facilitators, with the support of Sacred Sound Practitioner, Paul Jarreau. This is a special event; facilitated by men, for men. This intimate container will create the spaciousness to go deep into process and do it in a container where more focused time and attention can be directed to you and your intention.
Each participant is invited to take an inward journey, resting comfortably with eyes covered, and surrendering to the wisdom of the medicine as it moves through the mind, body, spirit, and heart.
The experience is gently guided with sacred music, moments of deep silence and a sound journey experience with various instruments, led by Paul Jarreau of Energy Body Wellness. These vibrations help participants navigate their inner landscapes and deepen the healing process.
The ceremony begins promptly at 8:30am on Saturday, November 14th, filled with a day of connection, prayer, presence, sound, silence, medicine and meditation. We will close with a nourishing communal dinner, followed by the option to stay overnight at the Sanctuary or return home and rejoin us for breakfast and an Integration Circle in the morning of Sunday, November 15th at around 9am. The integration circle is a mandatory and important way to ground the experience and carry insights forward with clarity.
Energy Exchange
To honor financial accessibility and reciprocity, we offer a sliding scale of $550–$800 USD per person for community offerings for you to contribute what feels correct to you.
A $200 USD deposit is required to reserve your place (payment details provided upon registration).
The experience includes pre-ceremony intake and virtual meeting with one of the facilitators, the daylong ceremony itself, fruit, juice, grounding meal and same-day evening integration circle, as well as one 1:1 private integration session with one of the facilitators post-ceremony in the week to follow.
Our Financial Scholarship Program is available for those who need support. You are also welcome to contribute to this fund, helping make ceremony accessible to others. If you are seeking financial assistance, please reach out to explore if you qualify.

Once you have sent your deposit, one of our facilitators will be in touch to schedule your 30-minute intake call (only if you have not sat with us before or for repeat journeyers if you're moving through something you feel is important to share beforehand). We will then send you the preparation guidelines and directions to the Sanctuary of Sound and Medicine.

Ron Nikel
Meditation Teacher, Compassion Inquiry, Trauma-Informed Plant Medicine Faciliator
Ron began his career as an electrical engineer, designing groundbreaking technologies such as the Nintendo 64, Xbox 360, Google Earth satellites, and AI systems. After building and selling companies and serving as VP of public firms, he realized success alone wasn’t enough.
His own journey through trauma, PTSD, and addiction led him to the path of healing—supported by meditation, trauma therapy, and psychedelics. He is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (MMTCP with Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach), trained in Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Maté, and has been facilitating psychedelic ceremonies since 2019.
Ron believes the deepest freedom comes from presence, awareness, and learning to respond to life rather than react. He brings this wisdom, alongside his lived experience, to every man he serves.
Conrad Cowherd
Breathwork Facilitator, Compassion Inquiry, Integration Specialist
Conrad has spent 35 years as a healer in the chiropractic world, guiding thousands toward health and well-being. Over time, he realized true healing goes beyond the body, leading him into deeper work with men and the human spirit.
His own path of recovery from addiction, the healing of his marriage, and the ongoing journey of living with an undefended heart led him to study and facilitate transformational practices. He is trained in Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Maté, breathwork facilitation, yoga, and as a Being True to You psychedelic integration coach. Conrad has been leading men’s circles and retreats where brotherhood, embodiment, and authenticity create profound change.
He believes men heal best in community—when they are seen, supported, and challenged to step into their truth. Conrad brings compassion, lived experience, and grounded wisdom to every man he serves.
